I was just doodling and this came out, I don't know

Note: In my headcanon Ditzy and Derpy is one and the same with "Ditzy" being the real name and "Derpy" being something like a nickname for when she's doing something silly or funny. In this picture she's younger and is just a generaly happy pony, so I thought "Ditzy" would be appropriate.

Good job, you got ger name wrong though, it's Derpy. Ditzy was a violet hair version in winter wrap up.

Lauren Faust and the writer of the Last Roundup both wanted to call her Ditzy. The latter was told to change her to Derpy at the last minute.
Though really, Derpy is still a background pony at heart, and no one interpretation is wrong, per se.

Sure, Ditzy was first, but it was the Violet hair version (As seen in winter wrap up) , not the one drawn here, this is Derpy.

That was never confirmed to be Ditzy; Twilight could have reorganized the bird migration team OR Maybe derpy/ditzy simply dyed her mane, after all, the purple-haired mares coat, eyes, and cutie-mark are the same as our beloved mailmare.

Personally, I don't put much stock into background ponies, as the animators don't seem to over-think their use (eg. the constant cloning in crowd scenes in the early episodes)

I'm rambling at this point, I simply want to say that fanon is simply one persons personal view, and to tell them it's wrong is a bit presumptuous.

But that's just one ponies opinion...
